Pablo's 21st Birthday: The Anniversary Exhibition
Pablo’s Birthday is pleased to present Pablo’s 21st Birthday from October 19 through November 3. From its mere beginnings as a non-profit art space in 2002 in Tribeca, to becoming a commercial gallery in 2004. Pablo’s Birthday has had the pleasure to exhibit over 200 artists from New York and around the world in New York and around the world. Over 70 of those artists have sent original postcard-sized artworks in celebration of the gallery’s 21st anniversary. The works will be available via auction through the Peggy app— a social marketplace that allows you to discover, buy, and sell art.
The proceeds from the auction will be donated to Residency Unlimited, a non-profit organization that supports the creation, presentation and dissemination of contemporary art through its unique residency program and year-round public programs. Through this exhibition we seek to express gratitude to the artists who made all these years at Pablo’s Birthday possible. From Tribeca to the Lower East Side and back again, New York has been our home and we want to thank those who've supported us over the years. To the art-lovers, friends, and family, and most importantly the artists, we are forever grateful for your continuing support; without you, Pablo’s Birthday would cease to exist.
