Alice Quaresma: Verbier

Pablo's Birthday is pleased to present our next exhibition Verbier, photographs from Alice Quaresma. Created during her 2020 residency in the Swiss Alps, Quaresma uses circles, lines, and other shapes to play with the relationship between depth/flatness and representation/abstraction. In this investigation into her archive of photographs, she pushes the limits of photography as a medium of truth and precision in relation to the condition of memory.
